Our roots are strong in Paso.
Our crazy family is not only in Coffee,
but we are also in the local Paso winemaking, grape growing and olive oil business as well!
We love putting our hands in the soil, growing, nurturing, perfecting and tasting that Terroir in the final product.
The Jones family side is strong in coffee.
Owner, Chuck Jones developed a passion for coffee as a young boy visiting the family coffee farm in Guatemala (that’s right! A coffee farm that has been in our family since the 1870s!)
He fell in love, and began importing and roasting over 30 years ago focusing on ethically sourced beans and high quality crafted coffee.
Guatemala, is where our family's love of agriculture and our craft truly began.
Now, we are thrilled to continue the tradition here in--Paso Robles!

He has 30 years of experience importing, roasting and selling a great cup of coffee!
Chuck got his introduction to coffee as a child visiting his Moms family coffee farm in Guatemala. His first job in coffee was selling green coffee for his grandfather, hauling it throughout the Southwest with his brother, seven bags at a time.
Chuck Jones founded Pasadena, based Jones Coffee Roasters with his family in 1994.
CO-OWNER/COFFEE MATRIARCH

COFFEE SLINGER
Meaghan is a Paso Robles local!
Born as the first blond haired child in the family, Meaghan grew up with her Guatemalan grandmother, Mireya, regularly introducing her as "the cream in the coffee."
Come say hi to her at the blue truck in Tin City!
‘Finca Dos Marias', our family run coffee farm, was founded in the 1870’s and has continuously produced some of the highest-grade coffees in the world!
The Finca (farm) is located in a cloud forest in northern Guatemala. The planted coffee equates to a total of 1300 acres!!!! 1000 of those acres are 4000+ feet above sea level!! And 250 acres are preserved as a conservation area, which provides the farm with clean water directly from fresh mountain springs.(Think waterfalls!) Though most of the farm’s coffee is sold to other sustainability-minded coffee roasters around the country, we keep some of it in the family—now at Tin City Coffee Roasters!!
