CHUCK ROAST (GUATEMALA)

LIGHT/MEDIUM

Strictly Hard Bean (SHB)—the highest grade of Guatemala coffee—from Finca Dos Marias in northwestern Guatemala. Balanced and quietly complete. Sweet and gentle acidy; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, caramel and, particularly as the cup cools, an orangey, raisiny fruit flavor. The chocolate carries into a rich, sweet-toned finish.

MEDIUM/DARK

Round, deep bodied Guatemala coffees with vibrant aromas of cinnamon, black fruit and a hint of fresh herbs. Well-balanced notes of cocoa, dark cherries and spices. Syrupy, woody and slightly smoky, with a sweet caramel finish.

Floral and leafy fragrances of fully ripe plums, with hint of vanilla and dry fruits,

Rich woodsy notes of dark Chocolate and Cherry with a Silky amaretto Flavor lingering in the finish.

DARK

Blend of Sumatra and Guatemala coffees. Floral and leafy fragrances with a dark stone fruit flavor and a subtle nose of anise, dates, raisin, nutella, caramel and toasted almonds. Silky, full body; well-balanced and sweet with refreshing acidity. Chocolaty and spicy with notes of butterscotch, dark cherry, vanilla and mocha in the finish.

MEDIUM

Fragrance of almond, caramel and cocoa with a hint of nutmeg in the nose. Sweet licorice and blackberry acidity with a syrupy texture. Dominant notes of caramel and fruit, with a spiced amaretto flavor lingering on the finish.
